- Rejected for the Cambridge MPhil in Machine Learning.
- Rejected by Oxford for a CDT after an interview; also received PhD rejections from Cambridge, UCL, MIT, and even an Edinburgh CDT.
- Of course, many paper rejections and “failed” ideas:
- First paper rejected by AISTATS.
- Second paper rejected twice: first by ICML 2022, then by NeurIPS 2022.
- Rejected by Google for a data science summer internship (2023).
- Rejected (ghosted) by the Flatiron Institute for a summer internship (2025).
